A Piece of History Uncovered at Ffryers Beach.
For those of you who’ve joined me on our unforgettable sightseeing adventures, you’ve likely made a stop at Ffryers Beach and noticed the downed Tamarind tree—a silent witness to the power of Hurricane Luis in 1995.
This past week, tropical disturbances stirred up significant undercurrents, leading to some serious beach erosion. As a result, the tree, which had been hidden for decades, is now almost fully exposed again! It’s incredible to see this piece of history emerge after so many years.
