This luxury 1 Bedroom Villa is among the largest of the 1 bedroom villas on the island with 1100 sq ft of living area and nearly 3000 sq ft of outdoor patio and pool deck area. Completely private, gated and fully screened with louvered windows. Well known popular Honeymoon villa and couples retreat. Outdoor BBQ and wetbar with villa wide IPOD music system. Enjoy panoramic and breathtaking island views of St. Maarten, St. Barth's, Statia, St. Kitts, Nevis. Expansive covered and open air patios surround and overlook a private pool, caressed by warm tropical trade winds year round. Private gardens full of aromatic tropical plants surround the villa. World class beaches (rated by numerous travel magazines) are just a short drive away. Beaches are quiet and uncrowded with many fun beach bars for lunch. In the evening, countless world class or casual restaurants all just a short car ride from the villa. Villa Manager will meet you at your port of entry, Rental Car is available. This property was designed for Adults, and is not suited for children. The romantic and completely private outdoor shower is accessed from the master bathroom. Enjoy a warm shower under the stars as the cool evening breeze refreshes and invigorates you. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of St. Maarten - St Barth - Statia - St Kitts and Nevis. Almond Tree Villa's 800 sqft 'Crow's Nest' provides 220 degree water views. Enjoy morning coffee, afternoon cocktails or relaxing in the sun or shade. The Crow's Nest offer views that even the locals find spectacular. You will also enjoy water views from pool deck, lanai and interior of villa. All Guests will be met at the Island port of entry (Blowing Point or Wallblake Airport) by a Villa representative and escorted to the property. Guests will be given a tour and familiarized with the property. Guests will also receive a list of important phone numbers for assistance if required during their visit. A rental car may also await Guests if prior arrangement have been made with the initial booking.

Did you know Almond Tree Villa was named after the prominent Almond tree that shades the parking area in front of the villa? However; during the summer it's the huge Flamboyant Tree to the west of the villa that garners all the attention! Its vibrant red canopy is stunning this time of the year!

Why we have removed Almond Tree Villa from VRBO and Airbnb...
Originally, VRBO and later Airbnb, did an excellent job of connecting rental properties and guests. Almond Tree Villa was one of the first properties using VRBO on the island. We achieved the highest property ratings and earned over 100 5-star reviews. As these companies grew and were sold and re-sold, they were eventually acquired by mega tech companies. These companies made it more and more difficult for property owners to communicate with guests, and guests with property owners. They did everything possible to remove hospitality and personalized service. They said they knew more, and did a better job of renting properties than the owner could. They provided reasons like "privacy" and "safety". The real reason they removed personal interactions was to protect their revenue stream. They understand how little they do to improve the experience for the owner or guest. They work the middle, manipulating search results, editing conversations between Hosts and Guests, simply to benefit their own revenue needs. Their fees are exorbitant for the host, and especially, the guest. These companies have become a detrimental force in the owner / guest relationship.
Therefore, due to the deterioration of rental experience on both VRBO and Airbnb, Almond Tree Villa has decided to abandon these rental platforms and return hospitality and customer service to the vacation rental experience.
