Last term, Ms Reid and Ms Sheridan’s fantastic Year 8 Pottery classes put their creativity to work, designing and creating a variety of unique pots inspired by animals of their choice. The finished pieces looked amazing! 🏺✨

⚠Year 7 School Vaccinations – Consent Required⚠

A reminder for parents and carers of Year 7 students that school vaccinations will be offered at North Albany Senior High School this term. The vaccinations include protection against tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough (pertussis), as well as the HPV (Gardasil) vaccine.

To ensure your child can participate, please complete the online consent form viahttps://www.healthywa.wa.gov.au/Articles/A_E/Adolescent-immunisation/Information-for-parents-and-guardians , or ask your child to collect a consent form from the school office.

📢 WA Student Assistance Payment – Claims Open 20 July 2026

The WA Student Assistance Payment is available to help families with the cost of sending children to school.

Eligible families can claim $250 for each secondary school student.

What you'll need to claim:
✔️ Your child's 8-digit WA Student Number (WASN) – found on the top of NASHS school reports, previous NAPLAN results or their SmartRider
✔️ Student's name at enrolment, date of birth, school name and year level
✔️ Bank account details for payment deposit
✔️ An active Digital ID and ServiceWA account

Parents and carers are encouraged to set up or update their ServiceWA account before claims open.

📅 Claims open: Monday 20 July 2026

The booking system for Year 10 Course Counselling appointments is now live in Compass.

These meetings provide an important opportunity for students and families to discuss subject selections, pathway options, post-school goals, and plans for Years 11 and 12.

We encourage all Year 10 families to make a booking and attend with their child so we can work together to plan a pathway that aligns with their interests, strengths, and future aspirations.

COUNTRY WEEK 2026 – DAY 4 WRAP UP
Yesterday was another action-packed day at Country Week NASHS!
⚽ Soccer The boys faced tough opposition, going down to Esperance before a hard-fought match against Halls Head College. The girls showed great defensive strength, earning a well-deserved draw against Bunbury Catholic College.
🏐 Volleyball Our girls continued their outstanding form with victories over Australind, Cape Naturaliste and John Tonkin Colleges. The boys battled hard against strong teams from Karratha and Busselton SHS.
🏐 Netball The girls were unstoppable, recording impressive wins over Broome and Newton Moore, showcasing excellent teamwork and skill.
🏀 Basketball The boys had a thrilling day on the court, narrowly missing out against Pinjarra before bouncing back with a dramatic one-point victory over SEDA. The girls also kept supporters on the edge of their seats with a narrow win over Busselton SHS.
🏑 Hockey Our girls gave their all against Great Southern Grammar in a competitive contest.
🏉 AFL The boys secured a strong win over Karratha, while the AFLW girls continued to show resilience and determination against a powerful Karratha side.

Day 3 Wrap Up!

Starting with soccer, the boys had a tough run, going down 3–0 to Esperance, before a closer second match against Halls Head College where they lost 2–1. The girls’ soccer team put in a solid defensive effort, finishing in a nil-all draw against Bunbury Catholic College.

In volleyball, the girls had a fantastic day, taking down Australind 2 sets to 1, and backing it up with more wins against Cape Naturaliste and John Tonkin, both 2–1. The boys, however, found it challenging, going down in straight sets in both matches against Karratha and Busselton SHS.

Over to netball, the girls were on fire, defeating Broome 29–21 and following it up with a strong 39–21 win over Newton Moore.

On the basketball courts, the boys had a nail-biting day. They just fell short against Pinjarra, 36–34, but bounced back in dramatic fashion with a one-point win over SEDA, taking it 55–54. The girls also had a thriller, edging out Busselton SHS 24–23.

In hockey, the girls faced Great Southern Grammar and went down 3–1.

In AFL, the boys had a great win over Karratha, 45–27. Meanwhile in AFLW, the girls came up against a strong Karratha side and went down 93–0.

North Albany Senior High School – Country Week Day 2 Wrap

Day 2 of Country Week delivered a real mix of results for North Albany Senior High School, with some big wins and a few close contests.

Starting on the courts, the Boys Basketball team came away with a solid 25–20 win over Eaton.

The girls basketball side faced a tough match, going down to Harvey Ag College 17–42.

In Volleyball, the girls had a split day, losing to Merredin College before bouncing back strongly to beat Karratha SHS. The boys Volleyball also split their results, picking up a win over John Tonkin College before losing to Dalyellup College.

Out on the pitch, the Boys Soccer team started well with a 4–1 win over Manea, but couldn’t back it up in their second game, going down 0–3 to Margaret River. The girls soccer side had a tight one, finishing in a 1–1 draw with Manea.

In netball, the girls were strong early, beating Great Southern Grammar 36–18, before a narrow 31–35 loss to Geraldton in a close contest.

In the AFL, the boys absolutely dominated, smashing Busselton SHS 84–6. The girls had a mixed day, losing to Albany SHS 9–13, before bouncing back with a 20–14 win over WA College of Agriculture Narrogin.

And in hockey, the girls went down 0–3 to Manea in a tough match.
