๐ Loneliness Awareness Week | 3โ9 August
This Loneliness Awareness Week, let's make room for connection.
Loneliness can affect anyone, regardless of age or circumstance. A simple conversation, a kind message, or spending time with someone can make a meaningful difference.
Take a moment this week to reach out to a friend, family member, neighbour, or colleague. Small acts of connection can have a lasting impact.
If you're finding loneliness or isolation difficult to manage, remember that support is availableโyou don't have to face it alone. ๐

Self-Care Sunday ๐ฟ
Scrolling isn't the only way to unwind. Sometimes the best way to recharge is to step away from your screen and do something that nourishes your mind and body.
This week, try swapping just 15โ30 minutes of scrolling for something that leaves you feeling refreshed:
๐ Read a book
๐ถ Take a walk
๐ Call a friend
๐ณ Try a new recipe
โ Enjoy a mindful coffee or tea break
Small changes can have a big impact on your wellbeing. Which one will you try today? ๐

AAPi advocacy has secured an important outcome for provisionally registered psychologists.
When the NDIA released the 2026-27 NDIS Pricing Arrangements, we identified the omission of billing guidance for provisionally registered psychologists and urgently raised the issue with them.
We continued advocating for a solution, highlighting the impacts on providers, participants and employers.
We are pleased that the NDIA has now released an updated pricing schedule that includes the guidance we called for.
Members can read our latest update to learn what has changed and what it means in practice: https://ow.ly/ahbc50Zt1oZ

๐ง Tuesday Tips ๐ง
Did you know that multitasking isn't as effective as it seems?
When we try to juggle multiple complex tasks, our brain is actually switching rapidly between them. This can leave us feeling more stressed, mentally drained, and less productive.
Instead, try focusing on one task at a time, minimise distractions, and take short breaks between tasks. Small changes to the way you work can make a big difference to your focus and wellbeing.
๐ What's one thing you do to stay focused? Let us know in the comments!

Remember, you donโt have to navigate difficult moments alone. If youโre finding things overwhelming, reaching out for support is a sign of strength.
