You simply stop.

The last light disappearing behind the palms, a hammock waiting beneath the trees, and the colours of the evening reflecting across the water.

One of those quiet Caribbean moments that feels almost too perfect to disturb.

I captured it because I wanted to remember exactly how that moment felt — not knowing that one day it would become part of NRM ART.

✈️ THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOGRAPH

Runway to Paradise 📷🌴

Some photographs are about being in the right place at exactly the right moment.

This was one of them.

Captured at Plage de St Jean — Saint Barths, right at the edge of the island’s runway, where arriving planes make their incredible descent just feet above the beach before touching down.

You hear them before you see them.

The sound approaching from behind the mountains… then suddenly, there it is. ✈️

Whether you’re standing on the beach or swimming in the turquoise Caribbean water, you can watch the planes make their final approach — so close you can actually feel the force as they pass overhead.

I knew the photograph I wanted.

As soon as I heard a plane coming, I grabbed my camera, got into position and started shooting. I took multiple shots as it descended, determined to capture that perfect moment — the aircraft suspended above the sea, just seconds before landing.

And I got it. 📷

I remember looking at the photograph afterwards and feeling so proud.

I’d captured exactly what I’d envisioned.

A split second of Saint Barths that could so easily have passed by — preserved forever through my lens.

And that is how Runway to Paradise was captured. ✈️🌊

THE WOMAN BEHIND NRM ART 📷

Behind every photograph is a moment.
A place. A feeling. A memory.

And behind NRM ART, there’s me.

I’m Nadine — photographer, traveller, and the creator of NRM ART.

My love for photography grew through travel. From Malta to France, and eventually to the beautiful island of Saint Barths, I found myself seeing the world differently.

I became captivated by the details around me — tropical waters catching the light, striking architecture, untouched landscapes, palms moving in the breeze, colourful wildlife and sunsets that seemed to stop time.

I began photographing these moments simply because I wanted to remember them.

I never imagined that one day those photographs would become NRM ART.

Living in Saint Barths was where that passion truly came to life. Beyond the island’s famous beaches and luxury, I discovered another side — quiet coves, dramatic coastlines, hidden corners and fleeting moments of natural beauty that made me reach for my camera again and again.

What began as a personal collection of memories slowly became a collection of art.

Today, NRM ART allows me to share the world as I have been fortunate enough to see it — and to preserve a little piece of those places and moments long after they have passed.

Every photograph has a story.

And perhaps this is the perfect time to start sharing those stories with you.
