Some kids are born for the stage while others take a little more time. Dance Evolution is a safe space for students to express themselves through the practice of dance, to grow into confident, empowered young people and to leave a lasting, positive impact to our community! Our mission at Dance Evolution is to inspire our students to push themselves to be the very best they can be and to teach them that they win just by showing up to dance class.

This season we're grateful for the dancers who show up every week, the families who trust us with them, and the teachers who make our studio feel like home.
We're still closed today so enjoy the long weekend with the people you love. We'll see you back in class tomorrow!

The studio is closed Saturday, October 10 through Monday, October 12 for the long weekend. Classes pick back up on Tuesday, October 13.

Registration for Season 19 is still open!
If your kid has been dancing around the living room since the beginning of September, there's still time to get them into a class. We have classes at both our Downtown and South End Sudbury locations.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We honour the children who never came home from residential schools, the Survivors, and their families and communities. Every child matters.
If you're looking for a place to start learning, the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation (nctr.ca) is a good one 🧡
The best age to start your kiddo in dance is...
whenever they are ready 💜
Not when they can follow every instruction or when they “listen perfectly" or when they look like the dancers you see online.
Just… when they’re curious.
Because for little ones, dance isn’t about getting it right.
It’s about:
💜 moving their body
💚 building confidence
💜 exploring something new
💚 feeling safe enough to try

Sometimes it starts with a little one who is nervous to even walk into class… and before you know it, they’re walking around like they own the place.
Yes, we teach dance. But we’re also building confidence, friendships and kids who believe in themselves.
