Guess what is ready to come out of the kiln??? Loved how happy and excited my grandson was to get his first Oma & Bammer masterpieces. Even mommy got in on the action and glazed the orange octopus tray.

Finally jumped on the Vortex Berry Bowl wagon. Oh my gosh! So time consuming. Not sure how many of these I will make, but I’m glad I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone and gave it a go. A lot more engineering involved than I thought. Hopefully it works!

Working on a prototype of a spill-less mug for a person who suffers from severe hand tremors. I added extra holes to allow for it to drain in the dishwasher and wanted to also make it beautiful by adding a wild meadow that also will give texture to allow for extra grip. This person prefers to grip their mug instead of using traditional handles.

Today my sister was ordained and I wanted to show her how proud I am of her accomplishments, and know that she will be a blessing for so many people. In order to commemorate the occasion I made a communion set for her.

Today is logo day! Working with a crisp, clean logo which is surprisingly tricky to replicate over and over on mugs. But doing my best!

24 drinking vessels done in 2 hours. Funny how tricky it is to make a different shape when you are used to making something else. By the end of the 2 hours I was finally getting them consistent enough that I’m happy with them.

Back in my Happy Place. Today I’m making commissioned mugs for a lovely customer, and tall tumblers for us. I’ve never made any dishes for us before. Our cupboards are full of “seconds”.
