Big hog of a tree today in Quispamsis. This poplar was 5’ wide at the stump, 70’ high and 15 feet from the house.

Still taking it all in after an incredible weekend at the Atlantic Tree Climbing Championship in Moncton last Saturday 🌳
I’m very grateful to have finished in first place in the masters final, earning the opportunity to represent Atlantic Canada at the International Tree Climbing Championship in Belgium next year. 🇧🇪
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who put so much time and effort into making this event happen, and to all the incredibly skilled climbers I had the opportunity to compete alongside.

Massive dead spruce taken down in grand bay today. 3 1/2 feet across at the base makes this 95cc saw with a 32” bar look small. 🌲
Big job last Friday in Hampton, removing 9 spruces and tamaracks with a crane. Due to access issues, we had to setup behind the soccer field at the high school and reach over the tree line to get the trees safely and efficiently removed.
Exiting the last tree of the week like I was just told there’s cold beer waiting at home 🤷♂️ 🌳 as you can tell, we have zero fun at work 😆
