Today is September 16th so we celebrated Mexico’s Independence Day 🇲🇽 The kitchen made the most delicious taco bar ever at lunch 🌮
For fiesta time we had Mexican fruit cups with cucumber, watermelon and tajin. As well as churros with caramel sauce and crunchy frituras 🎉

It was a pleasure to welcome newly appointed CEO of Assisted Living Alberta, Brian Pollard, to Alpine Summit Lodge in Jasper!

Our CAO, Kristen Chambers, Director of Client Services, Madonna Popwell, and Alpine Summit management, Ornesto Tassoni, were pleased to tour the facility alongside Brian, Senior Provincial Director Crystal Browne, and members of the local Jasper ALA team, Danielle Vien, Megan Derksen, and Tiffany Toussaint.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to share some of the successes we have experienced through the integration of health and housing, while also discussing our vision and plans for the future of seniors care and housing in our region.

We greatly appreciate Brian taking the time in his newly appointed role to visit rural Alberta communities, connect with local teams, and see firsthand the important work happening within them.

Thank you to Brian, Crystal, Danielle, Megan, and Tiffany for spending time with us in Jasper. We look forward to continuing to strengthen these partnerships as we work together to support seniors across our communities! 🌲🏔️

We did a bit of shopping in their lovely gift-store and a drive by of Athabasca Falls. Then we took 93A and checked out the fireweed.
