Our Goal is to raise quality, functional Purebred Herefords, Maintainers and Show Calves.
The Cliffs Farm stands as Canada's oldest Hereford Breeders registering purebred Hereford Cattle under a single sir name since 1889. We have strived for over 123 years to raise cattle that excel in functionality and fit the demands of an ever changing consumer driven market. The Cliffs Farm has exported genetics across the globe and holds a long standing, highly respectable image within the breed. With the sixth generation of Reid's now registering Herefords, that is also a record within the breed. Lead by David and Kurtis Reid, The Cliffs Farm has begun to expand and become prominent in the livestock showing circuit over the past 10 years. This resurgence in the farming operation is kindled by an absolute passion for the livestock industry and love for the Hereford breed, both evident in father and son. Although not the largest in terms of herd size, The Cliffs Farm prides itself in depth of quality throughout the herd, enabling a competitive edge for a small operation.

Thank you to the University of Guelph Ontario Agricultural College Beef Science Club for stopping on their Saskatchewan Tour.
It was great to talk about networking, Masterfeeds and tour the students through the calves at The Cliffs Farm.
We are fortunate to have had numerous great young women attending the UofS the past several weekends out to help tie break and work on the show string!

Congratulations to all the buyers and sellers during the Hereford sales in Ontario last week. Attention daughters were in high demand. We know his daughters well, they sit at the top of our herd. We have several Gangster x Attention heifer calves available private treaty.

Congratulations to the families and young Show people that purchased calves from us last fall.
We have a good selection of steers, Hereford heifers, cross heifers and Breds available. Stop by anytime to have a look.

Cold and wet day but all the calves are tattooed, vacc’d and ready for grass. Herefords, Simmentals and Maintainers have new green ears.
Also pulled hair samples on all our ET calves, top end bull calves, new to us cows/breds and a couple walking bulls.
