🏆 WE WON! 🏆

We’re so excited to share that Gateway Optometry has been voted a Community Favourite! 🎉

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to vote, recommend us, and support our local, independent practice.

Being part of this community and caring for our patients is something we truly value and this recognition means so much to our entire team.

Thank you, North Bay!
We couldn’t have done it without you. 👓 💙💚

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is observed annually on September 30 to honour Residential School Survivors, their families, and communities, and to remember the children who never returned home.

☕️ Happy National Coffee Day! ☕️

There’s nothing quite like that first cup of coffee to help us see the day a little more clearly! 👓☕️

Today, we’re celebrating one of our favourite little rituals—and the coffee that keeps our team going through busy days at Gateway Optometry.

How do you take your coffee?
☕️ Black
🥛 Cream & sugar
🧊 Iced
❤️ Whatever gets you through the morning!

👁️ See More Than Just 20/20!

Your regular eye exam can tell us a lot—but retinal imaging and OCT allow us to see even more. These advanced, non-invasive technologies provide detailed images of the back of your eye, helping us detect and monitor changes that may not cause noticeable symptoms.

🔍 Why are they important?
• Help detect signs of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic changes and more
• OCT provides high-resolution, cross-sectional images of the retina
• Quick, comfortable and non-invasive
• Allows us to establish a baseline and monitor changes over time
• Supports earlier detection and better long-term eye care

At Gateway Optometry, we believe that protecting your vision means looking beyond 20/20. 👓💙

📚✨ Happy First Day of School! ✨📚

A brand-new school year is here! Wishing all the students, teachers, and families in our community a wonderful first day back. 💚

As everyone gets back into the school routine, please slow down and watch carefully for school buses, crossing guards, cyclists, and children near roadways. 🚌🚸

Let’s work together to keep our kids safe as they head back to school!

Here’s to a fantastic school year filled with learning, laughter, new friends, and lots of happy memories. 🍎✏️👓

Stay safe and have a great first day!
