We see patients considering breast implant removal for several different reasons—but not all situations require the implants to come out.
A ruptured silicone implant, for example, does not automatically mean it must be removed if the breast looks and feels normal. However, rupture can increase the risk of capsular contracture, and implant warranty coverage may also make replacement a reasonable option.
Other reasons include anxiety about symptoms attributed to breast implants, capsular contracture causing firmness or deformity, or fluid collections developing around the implant.
The important point is that the decision to remove or replace breast implants should be individualized based on the findings, symptoms, and the patient’s goals.

When considering a deep plane facelift, it's important to ask one question: Does the added risk provide a proven advantage?
The deep plane facelift has gained attention in recent years, but it's also a more technically demanding procedure that can carry a higher risk of facial nerve injury. While uncommon in experienced hands, nerve damage can result in permanent weakness—affecting your smile, eyelid function, and overall facial symmetry.
Current evidence has not demonstrated a clear, consistent long-term advantage of the deep plane facelift over well-performed traditional facelift techniques.
After decades of performing facelift surgery, I've learned that longevity doesn't come from following trends—it comes from understanding how the face ages over 10, 20, and even 30 years. That experience allows every procedure to be customized, balancing the deeper structures, skin, and facial proportions to achieve a natural, harmonious result that stands the test of time.
The best facelift isn't defined by its name. It's defined by thoughtful surgical planning, proven techniques, and the experience to know which approach is right for each individual patient.

Liposuction is more than just removing fat. It's about creating balance.
Many people think liposuction is simply suctioning out unwanted fat. In reality, it's a carefully planned, three-step procedure.
First, the fat is gently separated so it can be sculpted. Next, excess fat is removed while preserving the healthy fat that remains. Finally, the treated area is equalized to smooth out any irregularities and create a natural contour.
Good liposuction isn't about removing as much fat as possible—it's about knowing what to remove, what to preserve, and how to shape the body artistically.
That's what produces smooth, predictable, and natural-looking results.

The term deep plane facelift may sound new, but the technique has been around for years under a different name.
When experts compare a deep plane facelift to a traditional SMAS facelift, they find no significant advantage for most patients.
The difference is that a SMAS facelift allows the skin and deeper tissues to be repositioned separately, giving the surgeon greater flexibility to customize the result. In a deep plane facelift, those layers move together, limiting that customization.
The best facelift isn't about the latest buzzword—it's about choosing the right technique for the right patient.

What is the best cosmetic procedure? There's no single answer, but upper eyelid blepharoplasty would certainly rank near the top.
When performed properly, upper eyelid surgery can create a brighter, more refreshed appearance without looking obvious. The incision is typically hidden within the natural eyelid crease, and many patients appreciate that they simply look well-rested—not "done."
For those with heavy upper eyelids, the benefits can extend beyond cosmetics. Reducing excess skin may help relieve the constant forehead strain that can contribute to fatigue, headaches, and deeper forehead lines.
The best plastic surgery enhances your natural appearance while preserving what makes you look like you.
Book a consultation to learn whether upper eyelid blepharoplasty is the right option for you.

A common concern is whether a tummy tuck will affect your ability to get pregnant.
The answer is no. A tummy tuck does not prevent pregnancy or interfere with your body's ability to carry a baby and have a normal delivery.
That said, if you're planning to have children, it's usually best to wait until you've completed your family before having a tummy tuck. Pregnancy can stretch the skin and abdominal muscles again, which may reduce the long-term cosmetic result.
If you're considering liposuction, that's a procedure that can often be done before pregnancy. For the best aesthetic outcome, however, tummy tucks are generally recommended after your last pregnancy.
The right timing depends on your goals, so an individualized consultation is always the best place to start.

What is a "Natural Facelift"?
Despite the name, a natural facelift isn't a different type of facelift surgery—it's a marketing term. The key to natural-looking facelift results isn't the label; it's the surgeon's expertise, surgical technique, and understanding of your aesthetic goals.
A well-performed facelift should restore a more youthful appearance while preserving your natural facial expression—not make you look like someone else.
Choosing an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon and having an honest discussion about your expectations are far more important than the name of the procedure.
