Is 3D printing as simple as sending a design to a printer, clicking a button, and waiting for poof—a finished product?
I wish! Before anything makes it to the farmers’ market, there’s designing, testing, adjusting printer settings, choosing colours, watching for failed prints, cleaning up each piece, and checking the finished result. Some prints take hours, and sometimes a tiny change means starting all over again.
That’s part of what makes each finished piece special. You’re seeing more than a print—you’re seeing the time and care that went into making it.

Our annual Trunk or Treat Party is coming back to Creamery Square, and we want YOU to be part of the fun! Live too rural for trick or treaters, but still love handing out candy and seeing all the little monsters, witches and spooky creatures in their costumes? This is the perfect opportunity for you!

🍬 Fill your trunk with treats and come park in the square with us! Not sticking around to hand out candy? The upper parking lot is the perfect place to park and kick off your Halloween evening before heading out to trick or treat! Whether you’re coming to hand out treats, show off your spooky setup, or just soak up the Halloween fun, we’d love to have you join us!

This is a quick view of my current work space, trying to get ready for market tomorrow. Lol. I am HOPING to have more Orbits (same items different colours) for our Orbital Vending Machine ready for tomorrow. 😊 I will also have our NEW CRACK-O-SAURUS Vending machine ready 🦕🦖See you tomorrow at the Tatamagouche Farmers’ Market. More than just 3-D printing 🌱🖨️

A farmers market is about more than food. It’s about a place where local people share what they grow, make, create, and produce, which is exactly what we do.

When you see a 3-D printed creation on our market table, you’re seeing the finished piece. There’s often a lot of work behind it before it gets there!

Designs may need to be modified, resized, tested and adjusted before printing begins. The material and printer settings need to be chosen carefully, and a single item can take hours to print, depending on its size, shape and detail.

The work can continue after the printer stops, too. Some pieces need supports removed, surfaces cleaned, several parts assembled, or moving parts checked. Sometimes an adjustment means printing a piece again. It all takes time, care and attention.

That’s part of what local 3-D printing brings to a farmers market: creativity, useful and playful creations, and possibilities for different colours, sizes and personalized ideas. It can also open the door to collaboration with other local makers and vendors.

The biggest advantage? You get to meet the person behind the product. You can see the creations in person, learn how they’re made and chat with us about an idea you have in mind.

You’re not just buying a 3-D printed item. You’re supporting the creativity, time, equipment, knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit of someone in your own community.

I have been working on this exciting project for weeks and I am excited to be able to have it (mostly ready) to bring to the market. I purchased this file for commercial licensing. It is made up of SEVERAL components but I am thrilled to have it finished in time to take to the market. I hope the kiddos are just as excited about it as I am.
I have another one in the works but just needs some tweaking. May be ready for next week. 😊

Not only are we a small time homestead raising chickens and ducks to bring eggs to market. We offer 3-d printing, crocheting and custom designs.
We enjoy our days at the market, chatting with our locals, vendors and friends. I feel that through conversations with many of our locals and vacationers that I am contributing to maybe encouraging some young entrepreneurs to live their dreams. I always told my kids “the sky is the limit, reach for the stars”. I enjoy every hug, smile and carefree conversation during my entire day at the market, it truly is my family. ❤️ See you this Saturday at the Tatamagouche Farmers’ Market 9-1
