🐝 HONEY HARVEST VENDOR SPOTLIGHT | SABLE SHORTBREAD 🍪
Meet Sable Shortbread, crafting handmade shortbread cookies from scratch in their kitchen in Windsor, Nova Scotia!
Made by hand in small batches, Sable’s cookies feature carefully selected ingredients, organic whenever possible, with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. Even their colours are plant-based and their sprinkles are all natural. 🍪
For Honey Harvest, they’ll be bringing several flavours featuring honey as an ingredient, including their Honey Graham Shortbread. 🍯
But their connection to pollinators goes well beyond honey. Many of the ingredients that make baking so delicious - including citrus, cacao, nuts and pumpkin - benefit from or depend upon pollinators. Sable also chooses organic ingredients whenever possible as part of their commitment to responsible food production and reducing their contribution to pesticide use.
