Liverpool Tool Library

Film night, workshops and places to gather for October! Use the linkt.ree in our bio for more information. We hope to see you soon and as ever share, borrow, mend 🛠️💚

We’ve been looking for larger spaces to the support the future of Liverpool Tool Library. So when Edge Hill Library came up for Community Asset Transfer and Use with Liverpool City Council, we decided to apply.

We’re through to stage two, the building needs a lot of work and there’s no guarantee that we would get it but we would love to hear your thoughts and share ours...

We’re running a drop in session
7th October 5-8pm
Location
Unit 3 Aspen Yard, 1 Aspen Grove, L8 0SR

We’ll be putting together the strongest case we can with your input but whatever happens we’d love to see something positive happen to Edge Hill Library, keeping it in community hands.

If you can’t make this date and want to share your ideas or take a look at ours feel free to email [email protected]

The welder doesn’t go out much, but the welding mask helped us see the eclipse today 🌙

Reminiscing on our stool workshop last month at the tool library! It was such a dream to teach people how to make a beautiful piece of furniture, everyone in the class had little or no experience and went home with their own handmade stool 🪵

Oh hey!! 🌟 Come and learn how to make a scorched wood block print and a hanging poster frame.

In this workshop we’ll take timber rounds cut from around Liverpool, and turn them into printing wood blocks for you to create your own beautiful artwork.

Once scorched the timber itself is something to behold and you can take it home to print as much as you like. When making the frame we’ll talk you through using an electric mitre saw and drill safely. A huge thank you to Ally Lee who showed us with this printing process!
