At Triangle Croft Gallery we create images inspired by our local coastal landscape.
Day six of this year's North East Open Studios event already, just four days left! This is our main gallery room full of variety, featuring Linda Watson's wonderful photography and Jamie Fergusson's latest paintings and prints. We are open 11-5 Thursday and Friday and 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday.
Well, what a transformation for the studio! It's actually been tidy for three whole days😉. It'll never last though. The first three days of this year's North East Open Studios have been really busy, thanks to all the visitors who came out to our wee gallery. Alan will be returning to the gallery again this weekend with more of his amazing jewellery, whilst you can see the latest images by Linda Watson photography and Jamie Fergusson's paintings throughout the week. Check opening times before you travel.

Think it's time the studio was tidied up a bit and make room for this year's NEOS exhibition! Less than 3 weeks to go! 12th-20th September.

Peeling blue and red paint. I just love the texture and the colours you get on old fishing boats. 🙂

Treasures from the sea. Loved the colours of all the different shells. It is on display at the Artaboyne exhibition.
The show is open till 1st August 10am- 5pm daily at the Victory Hall in Aboyne and entry is free.
Lots of amazing artwork to see, well worth a visit if you are in the area.😀

This seaweed image was found along my local coast a few months ago. It has some lovely flowing sculptural shapes, and I enjoyed introducing some vibrant colours. It is on display at the Artaboyne exhibition. The exhibition was rehung last night, introducing new work so it is still worth another visit if you’ve already been. Lots of amazing artwork to see. The show is open till 1st August 10am- 5pm daily at the Victory Hall in Aboyne and entry is free. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I needed a wee break from social media for a bit. Behind the scenes I’ve been busy making new work for up-and-coming shows. I’m delighted to say that I’m taking part at this year’s Artaboyne Exhibition. All the hard work by the committee at organising the exhibition has really paid off with an impressive display of Art from over 40 artists and is a great attraction to visit. The show is open till 1st August 10am- 5pm daily at the Victoria Hall in Aboyne and entry is free. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
