Hill 8 complete – Ben Lomond! 🥾⛰️

Another fantastic turnout today, with the Root One West team, friends, and a few four-legged companions joining Mark for Ben Lomond! 🐾💪

The Scottish weather certainly kept everyone guessing, with rain, wind and very little visibility at the summit – but thankfully some stunning views over Loch Lomond along the way!

After tackling Conic Hill earlier today, Mark Gibson and Bonnie headed up Dumgoyne for the second hill of the day – and what stunning views they were rewarded with! ☀️😍

This also marks Mark’s last solo hill of the challenge, with just three hills left to go!

Yesterday was a well-earned rest day for Mark Gibson, but we still reached an incredible milestone – £20,000 raised!

That’s double our original £10,000 target, and we can’t thank everyone who has donated, sponsored a hill or supported the challenge enough. 👏

As agreed with Lauren, anything raised from this point onwards will be donated to mental health charities in Lewis’ name, allowing the challenge to make an impact beyond the original fundraiser. 💙

Today, it’s back to the hills! 🥾⛰️

Mark will be taking on The Cobbler at 3pm, with some of the Edenmill Cafe and Soft Play team joining him. 💪
