When a clinic says “relaxing bunny lines,” they mean relaxing the nasalis muscle, which is responsible for wrinkling the nose.
The treatment:
• Softens or prevents the diagonal nose wrinkles when you make expressions.
• Doesn’t usually stop you smiling or making natural facial expressions.
• Takes about 3–7 days to start working, with full results in around 2 weeks.
• Typically lasts about 3–4 months, though this varies from person to person.
This treatment is often chosen by people who:
• Naturally have prominent nose wrinkles when they smile.
• Developed bunny lines over time from repeated facial movements.
• Notice bunny lines becoming more obvious after treating forehead or frown lines, as the nose muscles may compensate.
