💥 HUMP REMOVED! 💥

What a day at the Rays field! 😅👏
The hump is gone and the job is DONE! ⚾️🔥

Massive thanks to Scott, Fabio, Teddy & Hikaru for the absolute herculean effort today. 🤗💪

And Scott… we still have absolutely no idea how that digital wizardry you brought works, or what all those calculations were about 😂 — but somehow, you worked your magic! 🪄👏

Another little step towards getting the Rays field where we want it. 🏟️⚾️

Rays family getting it done! 💙⚾️

WE’RE SO CLOSE — PLEASE HELP US BUILD OUR BASEBALL HOME

We applied for several grants to help fund our permanent backstop, but sadly we weren’t successful with all of them. Now we need the kind community around us to help raise the remaining funds.

Over the past few years, our volunteers, players and supporters have worked incredibly hard to build a proper home for baseball at Morgan Playing Fields.

Now we're close to one of our biggest improvements yet: a permanent baseball backstop.

The backstop will cost around £7,000.

It means safer games, better training and a proper home for baseball in Edinburgh — for our players, families and everyone who discovers baseball with us.

❤️ We really need your help.

£5. £10. £25. £50. Every donation helps.

Can't donate? Please share our GoFundMe with friends, family and anyone who believes in community sport. Your share could help us reach someone who can get us over the line.

We've built the field, grown the club and created a community around baseball.

Now we need your help to finish what we started.

⚾ Please help Edinburgh Rays put the final piece behind home plate.

Thank you for supporting our club and helping us build something that can belong to everyone.

What an absolutely brilliant day at Rays field! ⚾️☀️

Baseball, BBQ, music, beers, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, great people and a fantastic atmosphere. A huge thank you to our friends from Glasgow Sunflowers for coming along and making it such a memorable day. 💛🌻

Days like this are exactly what the Edinburgh Rays are all about — bringing people together, enjoying baseball and having a bloody good time doing it.

And a special 😂👏 to our newcomers who literally just turned up today — welcome to the Rays! You came along to say hello and somehow ended up umpiring, getting thrown into the action and even getting some game time. That’s one hell of a first day at the club! 😂⚾️

Baseball + BBQ + music + good friends = pretty much perfect. 🖤💛⚾️🌻

⚾️❤️ A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO SKYE & EDINBURGH EVENING NEWS! ❤️⚾️

We’d like to say a huge, huge thank you to Skye and everyone at the Edinburgh Evening News for taking the time to speak with us and for helping shine a light on the Edinburgh Rays, our club, our home at Morgan Playing Fields and our plans for the future.

Support like this means so much to a grassroots club like ours. We’re building something special here in Edinburgh, and having our story shared with the wider community can make a real difference. 🙏⚾️

And while we have your attention… we really, really need your help. ❤️

We’re raising funds to complete our permanent backstop at Morgan Playing Fields — a major piece of infrastructure for our home field and an important step in securing the future of baseball here in Edinburgh.

We’ve already received some fantastic support, but we still have a significant amount to raise to get the job done.

🙏 If you can donate, please do.
🔁 If you can’t donate, please share.
⚾️ Every single bit of support gets us closer.

Please help us build the backstop and build the future of the Edinburgh Rays.
