The Agropack Solutions and Wevano Machinery team will be on the ground all day at Potatoes In Practice 2026, walking growers through six field-to-packing machines, each one chosen with Scottish growing conditions firmly in mind. From the Vegniek Selecto roguing cart to the Wevano Optical Grader and the APS Box Filler, there's plenty to get hands-on with.

Scottish potato and root crop farmers ā this one's worth your time on 13 August.
We've published a full breakdown of the Wevano Machinery, Wevano JCL-1000 Optical Grader: what it does, how it works, and why it's built for the realities of Scottish growing and packing conditions.
The JCL-1000 captures 30ā40 high-resolution images per item, sorts up to 12 t/hr, and creates three product streams in a single pass ā significantly reducing inspection table labour hours in the process.
We'll be showcasing it live at at Balruddery Farm, near Dundee ā alongside five other field-to-packing machines selected specifically for Scottish growers.
