This years dates are 9-11 July 2026 on Exeter's historic Cathedral Green, we showcase the best hand made arts and crafts the South West has to offer
A celebration of the very best artists & makers based in the South West. In the historic setting of Exeter’s Cathedral Green, this very special event is run entirely by a team of volunteers. This celebration of art, craft and entertainment has been an annual event for over 40 years. Over 100 stalls in a unique tented village showcase the work of the West Country’s best artists and makers. The lively, friendly atmosphere creates the perfect way to browse and talk to the makers of a diversity of work: ceramics, textiles, metalwork, jewellery and so much more. There will also be an opportunity to see work being created. Free entertainment for all tastes abounds with face painting, vocalists, dancers and even a strolling jazz band. There is a great choice of refreshments too with vendors dotted around the site. A great day out, for all the family.

Thanks to all of the exhibitors who were part of the craft festival, and for staying cheerful and professional, even though it was hard at times with the intense heat. Hope you all had a successful time. A big thank you for everyone who came to browse and buy, it was lovely to meet with you. Until next year, with best wishes from the committee.

What a weekend it was! Despite the heat, our amazing makers kept smiling, creating, chatting, and sharing their passion with everyone who visited.
We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported independent businesses, and took the time to meet the people behind the products. Every conversation, purchase, smile, and wave means so much to our makers.
This reel is a little celebration of some of the wonderful faces that make the festival what it is. ❤️

Exeter Craft Festival
Here’s a little before and after view from one end of the cathedral. There’s over 120 amazing exhibitor here this weekend. Thank you to so many of you that have come out for the 2nd of our 3 day event. It’s hot but there’s some lovely shade and breezy spots. Here 10 - 5.30. And again on Saturday.
