The Junction Model Railway Club
Share
A model railway club for people of all ages to come and play! The club was started in April 2012 for all ages. If you are interested, then why not come along.
The Junction Model Railway Club is located just behind the site of the former Exmouth Junction engine shed, hence the name. Since then, we are ever growing and now have over 30 members, with many guests turning up each to each meeting. I promise we don't bite! Just phone Dave for more details on the number under Contact Info on the right.
Here's another video for you to enjoy - this time it's one of our OO gauge layout "Priory Junction".
Happy Friday! Here's a video of Rolstone from our open day earlier this month for you to enjoy (thanks to Keith for taking this).
At the club today, we were carrying out some maintenance work on the Rolestone layout, including replacing sections of track. Meanwhile, one of our members was putting his Hornby Thompson A2 Live Steam locomotive through its paces.
The first video shows the locomotive during its running-in period, while the second captures it with the steam system in operation. We were all suitably impressed with its performance and realism!
