How great do these lovely cottages look?

Located in Ayrshire, Alton Cottages are two large stylish cottages.

In collaboration with architects Thomson Hunter, we undertook both the structural and civil works on behalf of RG Regenerations.

Getting into the festive spirit in the office😍🎅

We collaborate daily with Scottish Water to gain technical approval on a variety of different projects.

However, adhering to their Water Policy to gain a connection for a site into a combined sewer is becoming extremely difficult.

One of our jobs is to assist clients and architects throughout this process, producing Surface Water Options Reports that include detailed drawings, drainage calculations and an overall desktop appraisal.

After extensive discussion and negotiations with Scottish Water, we recently achieved Technical Approval on behalf of a client for a new property in Kilmarnock – happy days!😃

64% of UK adults believe that engineering jobs are crucial to addressing society’s biggest challenges according to new research commissioned by the Royal Academy of Engineering for National Engineering Day held on 1st November.

Despite this however, some 42% of respondents said they don’t know much about what people in engineering do whilst still recognising its relevance.

In response, the Royal Academy of Engineering is campaigning to change industry misconceptions to encourage people into the industry, something we always champion and encourage.

It was a pleasure working in collaboration with Ninety One Architects for a property on Westwood Avenue in Giffnock in Glasgow’s southside.

The works featured internal alterations to the existing house, including alterations to the rear extension roof and the conversion of an existing detached garage.

It could be a long day😆

We marked Scottish Climate Change Week by reviewing our own carbon journey and planning more ways to reduce our waste and travel, as well as other initiatives.

Sometimes you just need to be reminded that we can all do something, however small, to make a difference.

Meet The Team - Dominic Vaughan joined the team in August this year as an Apprentice CAD Technician.

As part of his apprenticeship, he will be attending college to study Computer Aided Draught.
