One of the finest golf courses on the west coast of Scotland, a wonderful parkland course beside the firth of Clyde featuring stunning views of the Isles of Cumbrae, Arran and Bute. Largs Golf Club lies within the most significant square mile of sporting activity in Scotland. The course is unusual in that it is parkland but with strong coastal influences lying as it does less than 200 yards from the Firth of Clyde. Part of the historic Kelburn Estate with its castle built in 1200, the course enjoys top ratings from The Scottish Turf Research Institute in the annual review and our website gives a flavour of the positive feedback from all who visit and play.

🚜 Greenkeepers’ Appreciation Comp 🚜
👏 Today we host our Greenkeepers’ Appreciation competition. We are lucky to have a tremendous greens staff and today is the members opportunity to show their appreciation.

🏌️♂️2026 BMW Seniors’ Open Results
🗓️ Tuesday 9th September 2026
We had a tough scoring day for our annual BMW Seniors’ Open. Heavy showers and strong winds made conditions difficult but we still had some very good scoring.
This years trophy winner is James Ward from Beith Golf Club who posted an excellent nett 66 to win with a couple of shots to spare. The best scratch score was an excellent 68 (-2) by our own Gregor Dickson.
Congratulations to all the prizewinners and thank you to all competitors for supporting our event and for all the kind comments on our course condition.

Our BMW Seniors Open is off and running.
A full field today and the course is in excellent shape despite the rain over last few days.

🏆 Ayrshire Gents Four-Ball Champions 🏆
Congratulations to our members Morris Stevely and Derec Harrigan in winning the Ayrshire Gents Four-Ball Championship at the Ayrshire Finals Day held at Ardeer GC.
Great playing by the lads saw an excellent 6&5 victory. Superb stuff guys 👏👏
Many congratulations to the Lothians Golf Association team on their victory 🏆 and for some outstanding golf this weekend.
Thank you to the players from all 4 teams for their kind comments about our course condition.
We were delighted to hold such a prestigious National Championship.
