One platform. Two audiences. No compromises. Welcome to Scatter Box.
 
The best eCommerce projects don’t just execute the brief, they question it. Discovery is absolutely key and it’s our job to pull everything apart and put it back together in a considered way, before we build.

The Scatter Box brief was to build a standalone trade site. It quickly became clear that building two separate stores would not be the best long-term solution. So we merged both audiences onto a single Shopify platform, with the architecture to serve each one, without compromise.
 
The new Shopify store does all of this... and more!

🖥️ A self-serve trade portal handling several distinct pricing layers across four regions, with bespoke minimums, multi-currency, and one-click reorder, turning half-hour email exchanges into minutes of self-service.

📝 Frictionless trade onboarding, with variable application forms for new and existing customers and automated approval triggers.

🔎 Sophisticated search functionality that dynamically surfaces the right products and collections at the right moment, reducing drop-off and keeping customers moving through the store.

🎨 A front end built from the brand guide up with muted organic palette, considered typography and animation, as well as optimised brand copy giving Scatter Box a digital presence as refined as the products it sells.

📧 Klaviyo flows segmented across B2B and B2C audiences from day one, attributed to 27% of overall online revenue.

🤖 All content was written from scratch with traditional SEO, geo-SEO, and AEO/GEO principles embedded, positioning Scatter Box not just for traditional search, but for AI-driven discovery.

🛒 Upsells, cross-sells, and sticky add-to-cart were built into every product page and the in-cart experience.

Ten years ago, we ended our first week in business on a high. An iPad in my mum and dad’s front room, and a wild dream that they and many others didn’t quite understand.

I was always quirky, creative and allergic to conformity. My path was never meant to be linear, and corporate didn’t suit.

To everyone who believed in us, thank you. To my family, who still send excited messages when they see something we’ve done, you have no idea what that means.

To every client who gave us a chance when we were very much unknown, and to the incredible colleagues and team members who’ve walked through our doors over the years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope we’ve made a positive difference.

I’ll be honest, I thought we might be in a different place today. Running a business isn’t easy, and the past few years have been particularly challenging. But I’m also a present mum to three beautiful kids, and that will always come first.

Through all of it, I still love Mitso as much as I did on day one. That matters. That’s why we’re still here. That, and my very stubborn head. 🤣
