This poor kitten died after suffering a dog bite 💔. HEARTBROKEN is an understatement of how we felt when we heard what had happened.

When adopting a cat or kitten here in Bali there are a few VERY IMPORTANT rules you need to follow… but most importantly, you must not let your cats free roam outside for three main reasons:

🐕 Free roaming dogs like the ones who killed this sweet kitten
🏍 Speeding vehicles that cause horrible wounds and often death to all animals
🌿 Dangers to the native wildlife

We ask people to keep their cats SAFE in their compounds or homes for these very reasons. 👉Please share this far and wide so no more lives are lost!!

Ohhh Analu! You were riddled with scabies when we first met you 💔. How could anyone leave you to suffer for that long? How could no one stop to help?

A month ago Analu arrived in our care and we were shocked to see his state. Scabies is terrible but it is also thankfully easily curable. Just a few weeks after arriving at Villa Kitty and Analu is now on his way to a full, beautiful recovery 🥰.

Cavolo died because he was left to suffer for too long. No one cared for him. No one noticed the nasty scabies riddling his poor body. No one gave him food or water.

He was only with us for one night and we allowed him peace a few days ago. ONE night. How can this happen? How can a cat be left for so long that they can not be saved? It's horrific.

Sigi and Taryn are two wonderful, friendly, cuddly BONDED kittens who just came back to Villa Kitty after some time in a foster home. The fosterer couldn't have them anymore and they came back to us in the hope to find a forever home as soon as possible!!

On July 19th Ibu Calendula welcomed her beautiful kittens 💚. She only arrived at Villa Kitty the day before, ready to give birth.

Right now we have several mothers with their babies here with us, and we just received another request to receive a very pregnant mother. It’s hard!!!! We’ll never say no to a cat in need, but we DESPERATELY NEED foster families for these mothers, so that they can care for their babies in a safe and calm environment.

There is nothing as beautiful as fostering newly born babies with their mothers taking care of them 🥰.

1,032 💔. That’s how many cats and kittens have come through our gates in desperate need of help since January 1st, 2026. A few years ago, that was our total number for the entire year.

June alone has been devastating - and July so far has been even worse. We received 88 cats and kittens since 1st July, sadly some had to be euthanised on arrival at just a few weeks old due to testing positive for the deadly Feline Parvovirus 😢. We continue to vaccinate but it never seems to be enough!

With arrivals constantly rising, we’re doing everything we can. But it is only with your support that we can keep our doors open for the next cat in need - because treatment that saves lives also costs money.
