Monkey Forest Ubud recently held the sacred Melaspas Ceremony to bless our newest spaces, including the new pond, tortoise house, and photo spot.
Melaspas is a Balinese Hindu purification ceremony performed before a new place is used. It reflects the values of gratitude, harmony, and respect, ensuring that each space is welcomed with positive intentions.
Guided by the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana, these new spaces are thoughtfully prepared to exist in harmony with nature, culture, and the wildlife of Monkey Forest Ubud.
