One of Irelands oldest Maritime Festival Events, ARKLOW MARITIME FESTIVAL takes place each year in Arklow, down on South Quay and around town, FANTASTIC LINE UP OF EVENTS FOR ALL THE FAMILY THIS YEAR AND ITS MOSTLY FREE!! Arklow Maritime Festival- July 29th to 31st 2016,has a long history here in Arklow, this year we're hoping to make the August bank Holiday weekend one to remember.........so come on down to ARKLOW town!!

Arklow Town Teams are proud and honoured to announce that the Grand Marshal for this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade is Arklow RNLI**, as they celebrate an incredible 200 years of saving lives at sea**.

For two centuries, the brave volunteers of Arklow RNLI have answered the call -in storm, darkness and danger -bringing countless people safely home. Their courage, dedication and community spirit represent the very best of Arklow.

This St Patrick’s Day, we will proudly recognise their extraordinary service and honour the generations of crew members who have protected our coastline and our community. 💙⚓
