It’s our Men’s Captains weekend and the best of luck to Tom Dolan who hosts a number of events. On Friday there is a 12 hole scramble ( there is still tee times available) starting at 2pm to 6.10pm. On Saturday and Sunday there is the men’s 18 hole qualifier and the top 10% each day qualify for his 9 hole playoff on Sunday evening.
Hope the weather shines for him and best of luck to everyone competing.

********** Hole in one***********
There must be something in air as we have had another hole in one at Athlone golf club. This time it was by veteran Willie Owen’s when he holed out for a 1 on the difficult 6th hole. Not only doing that he also went on to win the weekend competition where he scored 44pts in very wet and windy conditions. 👏👏👏
