Can I still get a wax while on my period? Yes, queen, Nothing stops us from getting smoother than smooth. I’m a woman too, so none of that bothers me, and I have everything you need if you get caught out by surprise ;) I keep a full supply of tampons in the studio that you can use during your wax if needed.
Today was a super busy day with ten clients back to back, Well, almost back to back, I took a quick break to go see Ayla at prettyink.jsy and get two more piercings. She’s an absolute queen and it was a total walk in the park. I am so happy with them, If you’re thinking about getting a piercing (or a few), she’s definitely your girl.
You might be wondering what I got this time, another ear piercing and my belly and no, I don’t have a flat stomach, I’ve had a baby 😉 but I had it done years ago and it didn't take, so I thought, why not try again? Middle age crisis, adding a little extra bling just for me, and I love it. I promise it’s not as painful as it looks, at least this time it didn't bother me at all.
Before I go, just a quick reminder, access to the studio is only via Wellington Hill/Road at the moment, there’s no other way through.

Slowly getting back to offering my full list of treatments ❤️
Today, after many waxes, was a full body massage followed by foot reflexology. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE feet? Not to brag, but I think I’m pretty good at it after 16 years.🦶
I might not do them as often as I used to since baby G came along, but I still find time whenever childcare is covered. While I’m on the subject, all treatments will be fully available from mid September (subject to availability).
I’m super busy until then, but I hope you all keep me just as busy after, especially since G will be starting school! How did that happen so quickly? I have no idea, but we are both ready. Even though I’ll miss him for a few hours a day, I know he’s going to love making friends every day.
A quick note for my wax clients: Having a little one even with backup childcare means there may be times I have to briefly pop out for a moment during your appointment or set up the room divider. Thank you in advance for your understanding and flexibility as we balance family and salon life.
Please remember to book in advance! I’ll start taking bookings for all treatments once my new hours start in September:
Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
(Saturdays are already fully booked with regulars)

Pillow Princess Duties Only

I hear this SO often from new clients: “So… are you going to make me get on all fours?” the answer is, absolutely not 😂

Somewhere along the way, people became convinced that’s a compulsory part of a Hollywood wax, but let me tell you, not in my treatment room, here you get to be a pillow princess while I do all the work 😌 I use techniques that allow me to remove every last hair whilst keeping you as comfortable and dignified as possible. My goal is for you to leave thinking “Was that it? It wasn’t as bad as I thought.”

So if you’ve been putting off your wax because you’ve heard horror stories, don’t worry, just expect a professional wax, lots of reassurance, a little giggle and every unwanted hair gone, trust me, I’ve seen thousands of vajayjays, yours isn’t going to shock me 😉

I am now fully booked until September, however, cancellations and reschedules do naturally pop up from time to time.
The only trouble is, I hardly ever get the required 48 hour notice for them lately, when that happens, it completely prevents someone else on the waiting list from grabbing the slot, we all lose out 😞
