Seven nominations. Seven categories. One very proud moment for Sage Delights. 🇯🇲

At the 2026 JMEA Manufacturers & Exporters Awards, Sage Delights was nominated across seven award categories, recognizing different aspects of the business, from manufacturing and productivity to Buy Jamaican, tourism, women-led enterprise, digital marketing and social responsibility.

One nomination that made us pause was Best Digital Ad Campaign, where Sage Delights stood alongside established Jamaican brands including JPS, Wisynco, J. Wray & Nephew and Isratech.

To see our name in that category was a powerful reminder of how far this Jamaican heritage food brand has come.

Sage Delights began with a love for cake, creativity and Jamaican tradition.

Today, we are continuing to develop that foundation into products and opportunities designed for modern consumers, tourism, corporate gifting, retail and markets beyond our shores.

And we are not finished.

There are new and exciting additions currently in development at Sage Delights, and we are looking forward to sharing more with you SOON. 👀🇯🇲

For now, we simply want to say thank you to everyone who has supported, purchased, tasted, shared, encouraged and believed in what we are building.

There are moments in business that deserve to be remembered.

At the 2026 JMEA Manufacturers & Exporters Awards Nomination Cocktail, Sage Delights Authentic Fruitcakes had one of those moments.

Our Founder & CEO, Shaun-Antoinette Grant, stood among Jamaican manufacturers and exporters as Sage Delights received seven nominations for this year’s Awards, including Best Women-Led Business.

What makes the moment even more meaningful is where we were just one year ago.

In 2025, Sage Delights received its first two JMEA M&E Awards nominations for our Jamaican Old Time Christmas Cake Bites.

One year later, seven.

That progression tells its own story.

It reflects a year in which Sage Delights has continued to grow as a Jamaican heritage food brand, while Shaun-Antoinette has continued to lead with a deep belief in Jamaican tradition, quality and innovation.

One of the evening’s memorable moments came when Major Damian Ffriend, Ret., Senior Executive of VM Group, presented Shaun-Antoinette with the first nomination certificate of the night.

A special moment for a founder who has spent years building, refining and carrying the Sage Delights name forward.

And so, from all of us at Sage Delights:

From handcrafted wedding cakes to building a Jamaican heritage brand for the global market. 🇯🇲🌎

Before Sage Delights became focused on international growth, Shaun Grant spent years mastering the art of cake — including this three-tiered creation adorned with hundreds of delicate hand-crafted sugar flowers, from tiny roses and hydrangeas to orchids, calla lilies and cabbage tulips in blush and ivory, crowned with a regal 7-inch sphere of sugar flowers.

Today, that same attention to detail is being applied to a much bigger vision.

Following a recent JAMPRO export session, Shaun reflected:

“Same person. Same love for the craft. Just a much bigger vision.”

The journey from local to global is still unfolding — one step, one lesson and one relationship at a time.
