We're hiring!

Southern Taxi Association is looking to recruit someone to fill the position of coaster driver.

Responsibilities/Duties of Coaster Driver

Drive STA Customers from one place to another in the designated Coaster.

Ensure and confirm with Transfer Agent destination of Customer or trip

Ask for directions or determine directions on GPS.

Use knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns to avoid heavy traffic.

Record all Trips in Drivers log book in a timely and accurate manner

Vacuum and clean interior of Coaster and ensure coaster are clean at all times

Turn on and off meter.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Good reading, writing and communication skills

Respectful and pleasant manner is a plus

Three to six years driving experience in a similar role

Good knowledge of the Island and its history (St. Lucia)

Health and first aid skills in also a plus

The ability to engage in polite conversation and also be able to respect customer boundaries

Having good teamwork skills and respect for authority

Commitment to the companies' goals and philosophy.

The Southern Taxi Association is a suitably qualified person to join our team in the capacity of Transfer Agent.

Responsibilities:

*Interact with taxi drivers, customers, and industry partners while ensuring that the Association services are seamlessly provided.
*Proper recording of customer and driver account information
*Ensuring a quick resolution of service problems by clarifying customer complaints, determining the cause of the problem; selecting the best way to resolve the problem and to do so expeditiously
*Assist in managing our various social media platforms
*Liaise with immediate supervisor and the management committee
