Devotional Message

God has placed His people in the world not to disappear into its darkness, but to influence it for Christ.

Salt preserves and brings flavour. Light exposes darkness and provides direction.

Our homes, workplaces, schools, communities, and churches are opportunities to demonstrate the character of Christ.

The world does not only need to hear our message—it needs to see Christ through our lives.

Prayer:
"Lord, make me salt that preserves and light that shines. Let my life influence my generation for Christ and bring hope wherever I go. Amen."

Devotional Message

Kingdom service is not about recognition—it is about faithfulness.

God sees the things people may never applaud: the prayers, sacrifices, acts of kindness, quiet service, generosity, and encouragement.

Whether serving publicly or privately, serve as unto the Lord.

And as we celebrate and honour women during this season, may we remember that God's Kingdom advances when every believer—women, men, young people and children—recognises their God-given value and serves faithfully.

You may not always be seen by people, but you are always seen by God.

Prayer:
"Father, give me a humble and faithful heart. Help me serve You and others with excellence, joy, and love, whether I am noticed or not. Amen."

A fruitful life is one that makes Christ visible to others.

Prayer:

There will always be moments when obedience requires courage. Do not allow fear of failure, criticism, rejection, or uncertainty to silence what God has placed within you.

Whether young or old, man or woman, every believer has a place in God's Kingdom.

Courage is not the absence of fear; it is choosing obedience despite fear.

Prayer is not merely something we do when we have problems—it is the rhythm of a life that depends upon God.

Jesus demonstrated the power of withdrawing to pray. Through prayer, we receive strength, wisdom, direction, and grace for the journey.

Never underestimate what happens when God's people pray.

A praying believer is a spiritually prepared believer.

Prayer:
"Father, teach me to make prayer a constant part of my daily life. Help me to seek You before I seek answers from anywhere else. Amen."

TRUE PEACE DOES NOT COME AT THE EXPENSE OF ANOTHER

No one can truly attain peace by taking away another person’s peace. We cannot build our joy upon someone else’s pain, advance by deliberately pulling another down, or find fulfilment through another person’s loss.

We may be different in personality, background, opinions, experiences, and even in the paths God has called us to walk—but our differences do not make one person more valuable than another. God loves us all, and His plans for each of us are not meant to destroy, diminish, or disgrace, but to lead us toward a good and purposeful ending.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." — Jeremiah 29:11

Therefore, let us learn to pursue our own peace without becoming the source of another person's turmoil; to celebrate our own blessings without despising another's journey; and to rise without making someone else fall.

What God has destined for you does not require the destruction of another.

There is enough grace for everyone. There is enough room for everyone to flourish. And when we truly understand the heart of God, we will not compete to destroy one another—we will learn to love, honour, encourage, and pray for one another.

May the peace we seek never become the pain we cause others. May our lives become evidence that God's goodness can be experienced without another person having to lose.

Let us win without destroying. Let us rise without pulling others down. Let us prosper without wishing others to fail. For the God who has a good ending for you also has a good purpose for them. 🙏

A life centred on God's Kingdom becomes a life of lasting purpose and eternal impact.

"Father, help me to seek Your Kingdom above all else. May every area of my life reflect Your rule and Your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

🌱 WHAT WILL THE NEXT GENERATION BENEFIT FROM YOU?

“Every generation stands on the service of the one before it. What will the next generation benefit from you?”

Every generation inherits something from those who came before it. We are standing today on prayers that others prayed, sacrifices that others made, foundations that others laid, lessons that others taught, and wells that others dug.

The question is not merely, “What have I received?” but rather:

“What am I leaving behind?”

What will the next generation thank God for because I lived?
What well am I digging that they will drink from?
What foundation am I laying upon which they will build?

This is the heart of Rediscovering Ancient Wells.

When Isaac reopened the wells that his father Abraham had dug, he discovered that the wells still carried provision for a new generation. “Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father…” — Genesis 26:18.

We are not called merely to admire what previous generations accomplished. We are called to rediscover, restore, preserve, deepen, and extend the wells of faith so that those coming after us will have somewhere to draw from.

May we refuse to be a generation that only consumes what we inherited.

May we become a generation that contributes something worth inheriting.

Let us pray more.
Let us serve more.
Let us disciple more.
Let us build more.
Let us teach the next generation.
Let us strengthen the Church.
Let us invest in people.
Let us leave behind faith, character, wisdom, godly values, and Kingdom foundations that will continue speaking long after we are gone.

The real measure of our lives is not only what we accomplished in our generation, but what we prepared for the generation that follows.

So, before we ask, “What will I receive from this generation?” let us ask:

“What will the next generation benefit from me?”

May our lives become wells that others can drink from.
May our service become foundations upon which others can build.
May our faith become a legacy that outlives us.

We are drinking from wells we did not dig.
May the generation after us drink from wells we were faithful enough to dig.
