We have been a little quieter on social media these past days, as our work has been fully dedicated to supporting several families through times of profound loss 💔

Among them were Graziella Castillo (47), a Director at Appoġġ, and Luca Pace (33), a highly respected accountant, whose sudden passing has deeply affected many, especially as their stories were shared in the media 📺

These moments are a reminder of how fragile life is, and how quickly everything can change!

We would like to sincerely thank our team for their dedication, compassion, and professionalism during these demanding days. Their work, often behind the scenes, is carried out with great respect and care for every family we serve 🫂

We will never forget the massive celebrations of their lives, and the love and respect shown by all those who came together to honour these special souls ❤️🙏

Celebrating life with my dear cousin Maria, who’s getting married in just a month! 🥰 We took advantage of our rare Easter off days by enjoying a mini break in Florence 🇮🇹 This Easter was a gentle reminder that amidst life’s responsibilities, it’s the moments we share with loved ones that truly stay with us forever ❤️

Il-familja tagħna tilfet lill-għażiża Anabel kmieni lbieraħ filgħodu fl-età ta' 46 sena 💔 Filwaqt li għandna sens ta' toqol u niket kbir, inħossuna grati għall-ħajja kwieta u eżemplari li qasmet magħna Anabel. Fit- tbatija tagħha, xorta kienet tagħmel minn kollox biex tarana flimkien u magħqudin🙏

Anabel, int ma kontx tinsa birthday jew anniversarju ta' xi wieħed u waħda minna. Bil-mod ħelu tiegħek kont tawguralna u tagħtina l-isbaħ xewqat mill-qalb. Issa aħna nwegħduk li se nżommuk f’qalbna u f’moħħna dejjem, mhux fl-anniversarji biss.

Bil-qalb ninġabru bħala familja waħda flimkien mal-ħbieb u l-kollegi li tant iħobbu lil Anabel, sabiex niċċelebraw il-ħajja qasira imma speċjali tagħha u nsellmulha kif jixraq, għada 𝗹-Ħ𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀, 𝟮𝟲 𝘁𝗮' 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘇𝘂, 𝗳𝗶𝘁-𝟯.𝟯𝟬𝗽𝗺, 𝗳𝗶𝗹-𝗞𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗷𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗸𝗷𝗮𝗹𝗶 𝘁𝗮' Ħ𝗮𝘇̇-𝗭̇𝗲𝗯𝗯𝘂𝗴̇ ⛪

This past week has been one of remembering and celebrating lives that touched many in our society ❤️

𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐭, who worked hand in hand with Dun Victor Grech, a pioneer in the field of drug rehabilitation. He was one of the first volunteers to dedicate his time to this work, and he continued to do so for many years. Everything he did carried the quiet but powerful mark of love for people who needed it most -

We also said goodbye to 𝐎𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞, a veteran teacher who helped shape so many of today’s generation. Among the many messages left in her memory, one stood out for its simple beauty. On a ribbon tied around a bouquet of flowers, a former student wrote the words: “𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅.” 💖💖

Tomorrow, at 8am, we gather once more at St Sebastian Church in Qormi for the funeral of 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡, a man who, in the face of illness, united a nation as people came together to try and support his treatment abroad. His story reminded us how powerful solidarity and collective care can be 🌟

To everyone who continues to follow this page, thank you for your understanding over these past weeks 🙏🏻 The quiet here simply reflects the number of families we have had the privilege of accompanying during this time.

Today I feel like shouting out to the world how much these incredible ladies mean to me ❤️

Mum, Rita, and Leanne, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑤𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑝ℎ𝑜𝑡𝑜, are my source of energy, my constant support, and the quiet powerhouse behind the challenging endeavour that is my life and work 🙏🏼 Laura, Krista and Claire, although not in the photo, are just as much a part of this incredible team and journey.

They are always there, no matter what. They know what to say at the right time, and they know what needs to be done without ever being instructed 🫂

I truly love you Mum, Leanne, Rita, Laura, Krista and Claire 💕Thank you for being the strength behind everything I do. I consider your presence one of the greatest blessings in my life, and today I celebrate women’s empowerment in every walk of life.
