GOLD FOR MALAYSIA!

Taj Izrin Aiman bin Taj Madira claims Malaysia's second Gold medal at the 20th Asian Games at Aichi Nagoya, Japan, in the Esports category for sim-racing, in Gran Turismo 7!

After securing a solid P2 in the first two races, he went all out in the final double-points race, and secured enough points to claim the overall win, and the Gold.

Taj Aiman is no stranger to the Malaysian motorsports and sim-racing scene, being one of the fastest Malaysian Esports drivers, and even among the fastest in the world - he's also had plenty of real-world racing experience from the Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Challenge Series and the MSF Racing series, achieving several podiums and wins along the way.

This is truly a proud moment for all Malaysians, especially the E-sports and sim-racing community. We're proud that the development of this discipline is in good hands, to have world-class talent be nurtured, and to be a viable pathway for more aspiring drivers to have an entry path into real world motorsports.

Congratulations Taj Aiman! THE GOLD IS YOURS!
