These powerful messages were shared by Ruby Tui, Sir Ian Taylor, and Bev Priestman—three truly inspiring individuals who have achieved extraordinary things. From Olympic gold medals and championing equality in women's sport, to reshaping the way the world experiences sport through digital innovation, and breaking barriers in traditionally male-dominated industries. Each speaker shared valuable lessons on leadership, resilience, and believing in yourself.

BizFest also provided incredible networking opportunities and practical workshops that challenged me to think differently about how I can continue to grow Studio M Architecture, strengthen my network, and build an even better village around me.

I was incredibly honoured to be invited to take part in the dawn blessing this morning at Reo Oriori.

This project has been a true labour of love, with many hands and hearts coming together to transform an empty, cold space into a beautiful new hub filled with energy, warmth, and aroha for our pēpi.

It has been a privilege to contribute to this journey, and I am immensely proud of what has been achieved. Seeing the finished result and the positive impact it will have on the community is incredibly rewarding.
