🧪 **A few new things on the shelves too!**

The ever-popular **API Freshwater Master Test Kit** has been restocked. So if you’ve been thinking about keeping a closer eye on your own water parameters, you know where to find us! 😉

We’ve also added the new **SOBO Canister Filters** to our range. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly filtration option, you now have another choice to consider.

And, after quite a few requests, **Seachem Clarity** has officially joined our range!

Seachem Clarity is a **flocculant**, designed to clump tiny free-floating particles in the water column together, making them easier for your filter to remove.

💡 **Fintastic Tip:** It can be particularly useful for clearing cloudy water after adding new substrate, especially when used alongside **fine filter wool**.

🔥 **Don’t forget — our L129 September Sale is still going!**

And because apparently we weren’t quite busy enough before going away… 😂

🦐 **UPSIZED DAPHNIA PORTIONS — THIS WEEK ONLY!**

We’ve upsized our usual Daphnia portions for the week, so you can get a little extra live food before we head off.

⏰ **This offer ends at 5:00pm Saturday 26 September.**

Once we close our doors for the break, the oversized portions are gone too — so don’t leave it until we’re back!

Make sure you pop in and have a browse **before we go away!**

See you in store, and as always…

**Happy fish keeping everyone!** 🐟🌿

🐟 A LITTLE DAPHNIA DEAL BEFORE WE TAKE OUR BREAK! 🐟

Since Fintastic Studio is taking a wee break next week, we thought we’d make this week’s daphnia starter cultures a little more exciting! 😉

Normally, our daphnia starter culture comes in a small Sera bag for $10.

But THIS WEEK ONLY…

🎉 BIGGER BAG — SAME $10! 🎉

You’ll get our large Sera bag with at least DOUBLE the amount of daphnia for the same $10 price.

Perfect for getting a culture started, feeding hungry fish, or giving your fry and growing fish a tasty little live-food boost. 🐟🦐

⏰ Promo ends Saturday 26 September at 5:00pm — when we close up for our school holiday break.

So if you’ve been thinking about starting a daphnia culture… this is a pretty good week to do it! 😜

$10 • Large Sera bag • At least double the daphnia

While stocks last.

🐟 **A little Fintastic heads-up!** 🐟

We’re going to do something slightly unusual during the first week of the school holidays…

**We’re taking a wee break!** 😎

The Fintastic Studio crew will be stepping away from the tanks for a few days to enjoy some proper family time, recharge the batteries, and hopefully remember what life looks like when we’re not surrounded by fish. 😂

So, just so nobody turns up wondering where we’ve disappeared to:

🗓️ **Normal hours through Saturday 26 September**

🚪 **CLOSED:**
Monday 28 September – Friday 2 October

🐠 **ONE-DAY POP-IN:**
**Saturday 3 October | 11:00am – 5:00pm**

🚪 **CLOSED AGAIN:**
Sunday 4 October & Monday 5 October

🎉 **BACK TO NORMAL HOURS:**
**Tuesday 6 October | 10:00am – 5:00pm**

After that, it’s back to our usual schedule — including our Wednesday day off and Saturday hours of **11:00am – 5:00pm**.

We’re giving you plenty of notice, so there’s still time to get your fishy fix, stock up on supplies and generally avoid any aquarium-related emergencies while we’re away. 😉 Online orders for shipping will continue as normal. Pick up will be available when we are in store.

Thanks so much for your understanding and for continuing to support our little family business. ❤️

See you in the shop!

🐠 **A Rare Opportunity — Altum Angelfish Available** 🐠

Every now and then, something truly special comes through our doors.

We’re pleased to offer **4 Altum Angelfish** to experienced keepers looking to add something exceptional to their collection.

These impressive fish have almost doubled in length since arriving with us in April 2025 and are really starting to show the presence that makes Altums so highly sought after. With the right environment and plenty of growing room, they have the potential to develop into magnificent showpiece fish.

📏 **Current Size**
• Approximately **13–15cm** from nose to the end of the tail *(streamers not included)*
• Approximately **20–25cm vertically**

💰 **$550 each**
🚗 **Pick-up only**

There are currently no established pairs, with all four fish available individually.

These are a serious investment in a truly impressive species, and we’re looking for experienced, serious keepers only.

Viewing can be arranged by appointment, as the fish are currently housed off-site.

📩 For serious enquiries, please message Fintastic Studio.
