We have lift off! Two weeks following Pegs surgery she’s come a really long way, lots of physio, medication, cuddles, hugs and being carted around everywhere we are up and walking! It’s so wonderful to see her achieve movement again and to be able to have little bits of her day back with the tribe. Still a long way to go and continued crate rest for the time being but this is such a big improvement from not being able to use her back legs at all 💕🐶

After a few days of an adventure Peggy is home! We are in recovery mode now for a while as she heels and gets herself going again
Some amazing people have taken such great care of her and the work they have done is phenomenal 🐶💕

Little Peg update. Following her MRI results yesterday Peg has undergone spinal surgery to relieve the herniated disc on her spine. The disc had clasped part of her nerve and was causing quite an amount of pain and paralysis especially on her left side. Time for lots of recovery now. Hopefully will be able to pick her up Saturday or Sunday to come home 🐶💕

A little life update from us. Unfortunately not a great one. Following an accident with Mr Teddy Friday week ago we have had poor Peggy-Sue left unable to use her back legs with a possible case of trauma IVDD. It’s a condition in the spine where a disc is pushing on her spinal cord causing the paralysis😢. She’s been an absolute trooper with no complaints and just getting on with it. Fortunately she still has the use of her front legs and bladder control and in herself is happy enough to be carted around all her usual places and routine. We are off to see the neurologist next week at ARC so we can find out if she can get the use of her legs back again. Lots of cuddles and kisses for Peg she’s still here with us and will be okay regardless 💕
