Shark week is here! Who likes to watch all things shark???
Shark facts: 🦈🦷🌊
1️⃣: A baby shark (or pup) is born with teeth so they can start hunting for food right away.
2️⃣: Shark teeth are layered in rows and have about 5-15 rows. Except for a bull shark who has 50! 😳
3️⃣: Shark teeth don’t have roots, which is why they fall out so easily when the shark is eating.
4️⃣: Shark teeth are naturally covered in fluoride, making them resistant to cavities. ✨
5️⃣: A Megalodon, which is now extinct, had the largest teeth, which could grow up to be as big as 7 inches! A tooth that big is easily worth $1000 if found. Can you imagine the tooth fairy finding that under your pillow?! 🧚‍♀️🦷💰
