St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Abingdon VA

Sunday August 9th we will be having a Blessing of the Backpacks! Bring your or your children's backpacks to either service and we will offer a blessing over them! There will also be a breakfast potluck between services for families and children to discuss new ways St. Thomas can support our youth and families!

Tomorrow is the second day of our annual Highlands Festival Luncheons! It's one of our favorite traditions, and while it's a busy day for our amazing volunteers, it's all for a wonderful purpose.

Every meal served helps support our outreach ministry, allowing us to share Christ's love with our community. Thank you to everyone who has given their time, talents, and support. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Festival Luncheons are today! If you’re looking for a delicious lunch today stop by and grab one here at St. Thomas. We’ll be here until 1 pm. All proceeds go towards the outreach ministries we support!

We have a new email system! We're switching over our email delivery system to Constant Contact starting this week. Because this is a new system, we wanted to make everyone aware of these changes. For the first week or so our emails through Constant Contact may go to your spam folder. This afternoon our weekly announcements will be sent out. If you don't see it in your usual inbox be sure to check your spam folder for it, and mark it as non-spam so you can keep up with us!

Tomorrow morning we will be having a church clean out day. If you like organizing and cleaning stop by and help us out! Afterwards we will be having our Isaiah House Lemonade Stand! Lemonade is free, but we will be selling baked goods. Everything we make will go directly to the Isaiah House.
