📸 🎞️Dave Metcalf was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, but spent summers in a cabin on Intermediate Lake in Michigan. Since retiring from teaching chemistry at the University of Virginia, he moved to Baraboo fall of 2019, although he still spends a fair amount of time at that cabin on Intermediate Lake.

He has been taking photographs, mostly of landscapes, most of his life, and has been lucky enough to live in beautiful areas. In this exhibit, he shows landscapes elsewhere: in Europe, in Iceland, and in the west, Dave will display his art for 1-month at Little Village Cafe 4th Street. Baraboo. Opening Night Nov. 6th at 5:30-7:30pm Please join us. For more details and buy a ticket online please visit: www.barabooartwalk.com

Laura Annis creates intricate artworks that are deeply inspired by pagan folklore, nature’s cyclical patterns, and the symbiotic relationships that thrive within the natural world. Through these cutout compositions I explore themes of interconnectedness, the feminine divine, and the beauty found in both the visible and invisible elements of nature. In addition to her studio work, Laura is also a muralist with several public art pieces in Baraboo

Laura Annis will display her art for 1-month at Gina Jenny's 126 3rd Street. Baraboo. Opening Night Nov. 6th at 5:30-7:30pm Please join us. For more details:

There are many ways to connect with people. Storytelling…be it from pulpit, lecture, stage, screen, bench or barstool….connects us. Everyday we live our stories and share parts of them through these narrations. But here my paintings reflect a form of story sharing through the eyes; using bold color, expressive brushstrokes and subtle accents, I am engaging my audience in a story of mine that hopefully evokes a feeling and maybe a little bit of nostalgia too.

Rod Keyeski will display his art for 1-month at Gina Jenny's 126 3rd Street. Baraboo. Opening Night Nov. 6th at 5:30-7:30pm Please join us. For more details: visit www.barabooartwalk.com

I haven’t posted much for Next Level lately, but the creative flow is strong and our clients are always handled with care — and plenty of creative juice from both Carrie and I. We’ve got a knack for just about everything.

Right now, we’re rebuilding our website, and it’s humbling (and inspiring) to look back at the depth and range of our work over the past three decades. I’ve been curating our web gallery and developing pages that take a deeper dive into campaigns, branding, and design strategy.

Branding and logo design remain my first love — shaping a business’s personality, recognition, and resilience in competitive markets. I’ve shared a few logos here — enjoy the peek behind the creative curtain!
