Calling All Former MPS Panthers! Leave Your Mark on Our School!
Once a Panther, always a Panther!

We are reaching out with a special invitation exclusively for students who previously attended Mount Prospect School and are now at William Annin Middle School or Ridge High School!

As you may remember, our beautiful school mural has been a wonderful way to celebrate the students, families, and community that make Mount Prospect School such a special place. We are now beginning Phase 2 of our mural, "Continuing Our Story Through Art," and we would love for our former Panthers to be part of this lasting legacy!

Although your children have moved on to middle school and high school, they will always be part of the MPS family. We hope they still carry fond memories of their elementary school years, the friendships they made, and the teachers who helped them grow.

Through our mural fundraiser, former MPS families have the opportunity to have their child's name permanently incorporated into the artwork that will brighten our hallways for years to come. Imagine your child returning to MPS someday and finding their name woven into a beautiful piece of our school's history!

This week, poet and professor BJ Ward kicked off a 4-week poetry workshop created exclusively for our school. Through one-on-one guidance, he’s encouraging students to think deeply, use stronger language, and take creative risks.

The poems from just the first session were thoughtful, expressive, and truly impressive! 📝💫

Best of all, this program is fully funded by PTO dues—a wonderful example of how your contributions directly bring meaningful, high-quality learning experiences to our children. ❤️
