The SPOT Basking Ridge

On Friday evening, we took a little detour during Halloween weekend to celebrate Maggie’s 7th birthday! 🧚 She invited some of her closest friends to The SPOT for a magical Fairy Garden Party.

The fun began at the Glitter Bar, where each girl got a dusting of magical glitter and a fairy temporary tattoo. While they took turns, the rest of the crew colored fairy pictures.

Then, with favorite songs playing, everyone decorated their own fairy house. Wood markers, colorful gems and mini mushrooms turned each one into a tiny work of art!

After a delicious pizza dinner, the girls designed their fairy gardens. They placed their houses, added stone paths, moss and colorful mushrooms, then chose a fairy to complete each magical scene.

Before saying goodbye, everyone received our signature cupcake decorating palette. The best part? Topping a cupcake with their favorite candies! 🧁

Our Fairy Garden Parties are full of imagination, creativity and a little magic. 🪄

Would your child love this party? We have dates available from November through spring! Email [email protected] to reserve yours.

Halloween, The SPOT-style! 🎃👻

We had a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween Thursday afternoon! Our 7–9-year-old crafters got creative at the “bat bar,” building unique bats from a mix of fun pieces. 🦇

Then they transformed mini white pumpkins with paint markers, jewels, and smiley-face details. Some were so dazzling, they looked ready for a jewelry-store display! ✨

After crafting, Ms. Jordan dimmed the lights for a spooky elementary-school ghost story. We wrapped up with cookie decorating—and, of course, a few delicious bites! 🍪

Up next: Thanksgiving floral arrangements and a fall Paint & Sip for adults, plus Thanksgiving jewelry design for kids ages 7+. Then we’ll be kicking off our winter holiday events! 🍂❄️

Weaving Wednesday is our favorite kind of Wednesday! 🧶

A group of creative young makers joined us on their school half-day to create 3D art with yarn, ribbons, and secondhand fabrics. They had a blast exploring co-owner Hannah’s collection of colors and textures, choosing their favorites, and learning the basics of weaving.

The best part? They loved it so much, a weaving loom might be making its way onto a few holiday wish lists! Weaving is a relaxing, rewarding craft—and your finished piece can become wearable art or a beautiful display.

We still have plenty of yarn, ribbons, and more for an adult Weave & Sip evening! DM us for details or email [email protected].

Our mini engineers had a special treat at LEGO Robotics yesterday: a Super Mario–themed project! 🍄

Teams worked together to tackle a complex design using step-by-step directions. They were so proud of their finished creations—and loved bringing them to life with coding! Awesome project choice by our STEM partner Brain Bytes Academy| STEM

Tuesday’s half-day activity was Clay Ghosts with Brit Coburn - and WOW, it was so much fun! 👻

Brit guided the kids step by step as they rolled out the clay and made their own ghosts from scratch. We loved seeing them add accessories all on their own—their creativity and styling ideas blew us away!

Then they learned about decoupage and decorated a ghost Brit had made ahead of time. Once dry, the ghosts were ready to go home with the kids, along with battery-powered tea lights. They worked so hard, and the results truly shine!

Watch to the end of the reel to see just how cute the ghosts look all lit up! ✨

Happy 5th birthday, Eliana! 🥳

On Sunday, we hosted our first SuperKitties party—and we hope it’s not our last, because it was a blast! 💥

Eliana brought her girl-power crew together for superhero-themed crafting and lunch. The kids colored their own masks, then upgraded them with bedazzling and personalized capes. After a freeze-dance break and a tasty bagel-and-fruit refuel, they jumped back into crafting to make glass-bead bracelets with kitten charms. We loved seeing how much care these young superheroes put into every piece! A little SPOT magic means they can enjoy their beautiful bracelets for a long time. ✨

We still have a couple of party dates available in November and December. Email [email protected] to inquire!
