A Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) will be in effect from October 30 to November 1.

During this time, some aircraft may divert from President Donald J. Trump International Airport to nearby airports, including Boca Raton Airport, temporarily increasing business jet activity. The Boca Raton Airport is located within the TFR’s 30-nautical-mile outer ring. Aircraft operating within this area are limited to arriving and departing traffic unless authorized by Air Traffic Control (ATC).

All aircraft operating within this area must:

- Be on an active IFR or VFR flight plan.
- Squawk an assigned discrete code.
- Remain in radio contact with ATC.

All flight training is prohibited while the TFR is in effect, including pattern work and practice approaches.

VIP TFRs are subject to last-minute changes. Please check NOTAMs regularly through the link in our bio for the most up-to-date information.

For questions, contact Boca Raton Airport Management at 561-391-2202.

Thank you to the Boca Raton Historical Society and everyone who joined us for the first installment of our Observation Area Lecture Series!

Although the rain prompted a change of location, it didn’t dampen the experience. Our guests enjoyed a fascinating look into the history of Boca Raton Airport, led by a wonderful guest speaker, Susan Gillis, Curator for the Boca Raton Historical Society, who brought our airport’s story to life.

Ready to learn more? Join us on November 19 for our next lecture, featuring Lynn University College Of Aeronautics, as we explore "The Physics of Flight: Understanding How Aircraft Fly."
