When Dr. Virgen graduated from vet school, she was one of only 5 Latinas out of 146 classmates. Growing up, she had never met a Latina veterinarian. That experience shaped her purpose: to share her knowledge and experience to give back to the community she grew up in.

When the fireworks start, your pet is most likely to:

🐶 Bark at every boom
