Live Better My mission is to provide people with an opportunity to be the best version of themselves. Why do we sometimes fail to reach our potential? I can help.
We are all unique, and when we allow that uniqueness to shine, we become lovable, productive, successful and happy people. Not because we do not want to be happy and successful. Rather, it is because of obstacles that block our ability to live the life we want. It is because we have developed poor coping strategies, anxiety, depression, or self-doubt. As a teenager I struggled with all four of these obstacles, but through the process of my own therapy, I discovered that I could create the life I wanted. Because of my success, I decided to help others clear their own paths to happiness. If you feel like you are not on the path to creating fulfillment and joy in your life, call me.
The more I make time for myself, the more I realize it was never selfish to begin with π₯Ή
I hear βI donβt have any time for myselfβ from my clients constantly, and as a parent and business owner, I completely understand why it feels that way.
There will ALWAYS be something that feels more important, whether itβs your kids, your business, your family, or the never-ending list of things that need you π€ͺ
But Iβve started putting a date with myself on my calendar every single week, and today that looked like an hour on the trail breathing deeply, feeling the sun, moving my body, and letting myself simply be!
Because when I intentionally make space for myself, I donβt have less to give everyone elseβ¦I actually have MORE ππΌ
Iβm more productive in my business, more present with the people I love, and more capable of showing up as the version of myself I actually want to be β€οΈ
So consider this your nudge to put yourself on the calendar this week and do something that fills YOU back up!
And if you do, come back and tell me what your date with yourself looked like ππΌ

Mark and I took a weekend for ourselves in Laguna, and gosh, I love that manβ€οΈ
Weβve finally figured out that in the rare moments we get to be alone together, the best thing we can do isβ¦ not much at all.
No packed itinerary or rushing from one thing to the next...
Just being together!
Sitting in each otherβs presence. Laughing. Having uninterrupted conversations. Holding hands. Wandering around with nowhere we needed to be.
There was something so special about slowing everything down enough to really enjoy each other.
It was simple and it was magical π₯°

Sometimes the best days are the ones where nothing is planned!
A slow Thursday morning in our friend Melanie's backyard near Mammoth looked like sitting by the creek, splashing in the stream, and letting Leo lead the adventure π
Just the three of us enjoying the kind of unhurried time that somehow feels harder to come by these days!
It's funny how the simplest moments often become the ones you remember most π₯°
Healing is only half the journey β€οΈβπ©Ή
The other half is learning how to build a life that reflects it!
For the past 20 years, I've dedicated my work to helping people create both emotional and practical transformation ππΌ
From psychotherapy to coaching, writing Life Launch, giving a TED Talk on the rise of anxiety, and creating the Live Better program, every step has been driven by the same mission:
To help people move beyond surviving and into living with greater peace, purpose, and intention.
Because emotional breakthroughs are powerful.
But they become life-changing when they lead to real action ππΌ
If you're ready to become the expert on your own growth and step into your highest potential, I'd love to help guide you.

Some of the best adventures don't need an itinerary π²π
Just a lake and a little boy with an endless imagination!
One of the greatest gifts of being Leo's dad is that he reminds me to slow down and notice the things I'd probably walk right past.
β The ripples in the water.
β The sound of the wind through the trees.
β The excitement of spotting a fish or finding the "perfect" rock.
Kids have a way of turning nature into the best playground in the world!
And every time we come out here together, I'm reminded that these are the moments we'll remember most β€οΈ
You can't think your way out of every trigger π
One of the biggest misconceptions about healing is believing that understanding why you're triggered is enough.
Insight matters.
But insight without feeling often keeps us stuck!
When something activates an old wound, the invitation isn't just to analyze it.
It's to get curious π
Where do I feel this in my body?
How old do I feel right now?
What does this younger version of me need in this moment?
Sometimes healing looks less like finding the perfect answer and more like offering yourself the compassion you needed all along.
When we stop resisting our emotions and start meeting them with acceptance, they begin to move instead of staying trapped!
That's where real release happens ππΌ

There is something so special about experiencing the world through your child's eyes β€οΈ
A mask, a stick, and a trail around Red's Lake in Mammoth were all Leo needed for the perfect adventure!
One of my favorite parts of parenthood is watching ordinary moments become extraordinary through his excitement π
The places I've always loved somehow feel even more magical when I get to explore them alongside him!
It's a reminder that wonder isn't something we lose... sometimes we just need a little person to help us find it again ποΈβ¨
The goal was never just to help people learn...
It was to help people experience lasting change!
I just wrapped up the fifth round of Live Better, and hearing everyone reflect on their journey was incredibly rewarding ππΌ
So many people shared that they'd already spent years in therapy or doing personal development.
But they still felt there was another level waiting for them...
Watching those shifts unfold is the most fulfilling part of this work π
Growth isn't about collecting more information.
It's about becoming the version of yourself you've always known was possible!
If you're ready to move beyond insight and into transformation, I'd love to support you.

Celebrating my mom (aka Gigi)'s birthday with Leo, Jill, and me π
One of my favorite parts of parenting has been watching Leo become his own little person!
He has his own relationships, his own sense of humor, and his own way of making the people he loves feel incredibly special.
Lately, he's obsessed with birthdays π₯³
He loves helping set everything up, building the anticipation, and making sure the person being celebrated feels celebrated.
Watching him experience that kind of joy has made me appreciate birthdays in a whole new way too!
One thing I never expected about becoming a parent was how it would deepen the relationships I already had.
Seeing my mom become "Gigi" through Leo's eyes has been one of the sweetest gifts β€οΈ
What if healing wasn't something you had to figure out on your own?
One of the biggest challenges after taking a course, reading a book, or having a breakthrough is knowing how to actually live it!
Because insight is powerful...
But transformation comes through consistent practice ππΌ
That's why I created the Live Better Community.
This isn't just more content. It's a year-long space to help you embody the work.
Twice a month we'll come together to:
π€ Break through emotional blocks
π€ Journal and integrate what you're learning
π€ Connect with others who are doing the work too
π€ Create meaningful goals with accountability
π€ Get your questions answered through live coaching and Q&A
You can join the community on its own or pair it with one-on-one coaching if you're looking for deeper support.
If you're ready to stop consuming personal growth and start living it, I'd love to have you with us!
