Ivo Luis Diaz son of the great Leandro Diaz, glory and legend of our folklore, is one of the most representative voices of the vallenato winner of many festivals of the vallenata legend. Ivo has the gift of that strong, clear and melodious voice that makes him well indigenous when he feels vallenato. Below we list some of his many achievements.
Winner of 6 festivals of the Vallenata Legend as an interpreter in the unpublished song, King of the piqueria in 1986 at the Vallenata Legend Festival, winner in 1993 of the Vallenata Legend Festival in the form of unpublished song as composer and interpreter of the song “Dame tu Alma”, winner best voice of the Vallenata Legend festival in 1999. In 1983 he recorded with the Vallenato King Rafael Salas and has recorded seven musical productions with the King of Kings Nicolas “Colacho” Mendoza.

As we proudly celebrated our 10th Anniversary, we were honored to welcome thousands of attendees to Downtown Cartersville to experience the richness of Colombian heritage through music, authentic cuisine, folkloric dance, family activities, cultural performances, and community engagement.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, vendors, sponsors, community partners, artists, public officials, media representatives, and every family who joined us. Your support, dedication, and belief in our mission continue to inspire us to build stronger, more inclusive communities.
Special thanks to every performer and cultural ambassador who shared their talent and helped preserve and promote Colombian traditions for future generations.

Thanks to each of the people who made this wonderful event possible, we move forward thanks to the teacher son Diaz for such a wonderful presentation and for traveling from so far to come the international recognition of Intercultural Fest legacy for his father Leandro Díaz, also very special thanks to Franklin Moya, cultural ambassador of our Intercultural to each of the people who made this event possible, the volunteers to our dear Carlos Sanchez, director of International Channels RCN television to each of you who came with your families, your children your grandparents. Thank you. That is why we are waiting for you soon on September 6 to continue celebrating the month of Hispanic heritage with an unforgettable festival where the flags will be sent and we will also honor the country that opened its arms to us. On behalf of Intercultural Fest, Intercultural Fest Foundation (501(c)(3)) and on my own as Founder and President, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the talented accordionist Juan David Payares for joining us during the celebration of the 10thº Anniversary of Intercultural Fest - Colombia Independence Day, last July 12.
His talent, professionalism and passion for vallenato were fundamental to accompany Master Ivo Díaz and Master Franklin Moya on stage, providing the public with an authentic experience that honored the richness of folklore and the cultural identity of Colombia.
Thank you for sharing with our community the sound of an instrument that represents the soul of our music and for contributing to this celebration being in the hearts of hundreds of families.
We hope to continue building spaces together where our culture continues to inspire, educate and unite communities.

On behalf of the Fest Foundation, Intercultural Fest LLC and very especially on my own, as President, Founder and Director, we want to express our most sincere thanks to RCN Television and Mr. Carlos Sánchez Giraldo, General Director of International Channels, for their invaluable support and trust during these 10 years of Intercultural Fest history.
It was a real honor to have your distinguished presence on July 12, accompanying us in the celebration of the 10thº Anniversary of Intercultural Fest - Colombian Independence Festival. His participation gave a special meaning to this important moment, especially during the tribute to the legacy of Maestro Leandro Díaz, received by his son, Ivo Díaz.
