Welcome November! It's time for a new Take It Make It Craft and this month we have an Indian Corn Craft! Decorate it with the included paints or use your own crayons!

Pick up your craft kit inside the library or request using curbside. While supplies last.

Email a picture of your completed craft to Mrs. Burke at [email protected] and we'll post it here on our page!

🪡🛻 Join Barbara H for a two-part class learning a variety of hand stitches to create a festive Red Truck Felt Ornament! Part 1 will be on Tuesday, December 1 at 6:00 P.M. and Part 2 will be on Thursday, December 3 at 6:00 P.M. Participants must attend both sessions. $10 Materials Fee. Registration is required in person, with the materials fee due at sign-up. For adults.

🫖 Grab a cup of coffee, a piece of cake, and join us for some good conversation at our next Death Café on Tuesday, November 10 at 6:00 P.M. We’ll have an open and welcoming conversation about death, dying, and life. Share your thoughts, listen to others, or just come hang out and take it all in. Everyone is welcome!

We are out of October crafts, but we will have a brand new craft available November 1st!

We had so much fun at our recent Food Fun program for grades K-4! In celebration of National Pizza Month, we made Mini Pizzas with sweet potato crusts and Mini Fruit Pizzas! We also learned that sometimes recipes take a lot of patience to make!

🍄🐟 Join us for the next session of our ongoing cooking series, “From Our Kitchen to Yours,” on Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00 P.M. The November class will feature Colette Srebro Hughes. Attendees will learn how to prepare a Polish Holiday celebration with Cream of Mushroom Soup and Baked Fish. This will be a cooking and tasting demo. $3 Materials Fee. For adults. 🎃🫘🌽 Another wonderful evening at the Library for our ongoing cooking series, “From Our Kitchen to Yours.” This month featured Becky Smith from Penn State Extension, Wyoming County PA who taught attendees how to prepare a “Three Sisters Soup.” We have had so much fun this year learning all about the Three Sisters (squash, beans, and corn) and how planting them together allows each to benefit from the others as they grow! Thank you so much to everyone who attended.

📣 The Library will have adjusted hours on a few upcoming dates: we will be closed on Tuesday, November 3, for Staff Development Day, close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 6, to prepare for the Dorothy Boccella Holiday Marketplace, and be closed on Wednesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
