🚨 LUNCH & LEARN: DISASTER PREPAREDNESS & COMMUNITY RESILIENCE

Preparing Decatur Today for the Disasters of Tomorrow

The INC Spot Ltd, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Serve Illinois Division, is bringing disaster preparedness training to Decatur!

In light of recent federal changes and the denial of two federal disaster declarations for Illinois, it is increasingly important that we strengthen our community’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.

From flooding and severe winter storms to other natural disasters, community preparedness can save lives and help protect our families, homes, and neighborhoods.

Join us to learn how we can build a stronger, more resilient Decatur by equipping our community with the knowledge and skills needed to respond when disaster strikes.

If you want to increase business visibility, focus on these 3 things:

1. BE SEEN ONLINE 📱
Keep your Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, and website updated. Post consistently—products, services, customer wins, events, behind-the-scenes, and community involvement.

2. GET INVOLVED LOCALLY 🤝🏾
Attend networking events, sponsor community events, collaborate with other businesses, and get your name in front of people. People support businesses they know.

3. MAKE YOUR BUSINESS EASY TO FIND 🔎
Make sure your business name, phone number, address, hours, website, and services are listed correctly everywhere—including directories. Ask satisfied customers for reviews and testimonials.

Visibility isn't just about advertising. It's about being seen, remembered, and talked about.
