Please join us in celebrating Jameson England, DCLI College Scholar, University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) student, and former participant in our Young Men Only and Internship programs!

Jameson is pursuing his bachelor's degree in clinical counseling, with plans to continue his education by earning a master's degree in human development with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

His ambitions also extend into public safety, as he plans to become a firefighter and EMT, reflecting his commitment to helping others in different capacities.

Please join us in celebrating Maritza Badillo, DCLI College Scholar, Eisenhower High School graduate, and student at Richland Community College!

Maritza is currently working toward a degree in healthcare, with plans to pursue a career in diagnostic medical sonography.

Through her participation in DCLI's Health Professions Club and Public Safety Experience, Maritza has had opportunities to explore careers dedicated to serving others. Her interest in healthcare was also shaped by an internship at St. Mary's Hospital during high school, where she gained firsthand exposure to the medical field.

As Maritza continues her educational journey, she is taking steps toward a profession that combines healthcare, technology, and patient care.

Anijah is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), with aspirations of becoming a pediatric neurology nurse.

As a graduate of DCLI's Residential CNA program, Anijah has gained hands-on healthcare experience and earned her CNA certification, building a foundation for her future in nursing.

Driven by her passion for helping others, Anijah hopes to work with children facing neurological conditions while providing compassionate care and support to their families. Her experiences in healthcare have strengthened her commitment to nursing and helped shape the kind of nurse she hopes to become.
